- An amazing wonder in the world

Travel Information and Insights

unless money is not an issue, don?t book into a hotel

we had a couple of days visiting the grand canyon on a trip of south west usa earlier this year. it was everything you’ve heard about and more. undescribable vastness, absolutely gorgeous. i could never do it justice trying to describe it because it has to be experienced, however, i hope to pass on [...]

Grand Canyon Deer Are Dear To My Heart

I took the train in Williams. The home of the Grand Canyon Railway. I upgraded our tickets and had drinks served to us as we traveled. I really enjoyed the way the Hotel decorated for the Polar Express and how Christmas was being celebrated there in Williams. Parents and children were in PJ’s. [...]

Lots of things to do at the South Rim

Spending many hours watching people come to view one of Mother Nature’s best creations is very enjoyable. No matter where people come from, it is always interesting to see their reaction to such a marvelous place like the Grand Canyon South Rim. The shuttle bus that runs through the park is a convenient option. Take the [...]

We Love All Of The Parks

Having stayed at the Kaibab Lodge in the early 90’s. We thought it was awful. Old creaky beds, tiny bathrooms (where if you sat on the toilet you could rest your arms on the sink). It was cheap then - about what you would expect to pay for a halfway decent motel like the Day’s [...]

Respecting The Dangers of The Grand Canyon

I visited the Grand Canyon a couple of years ago while on vacation in the USA. We camped at the Grand Canyon for a couple of days giving us to time to really explore this vast wonder. It is absolutely breathtaking. Until you stand at the edge, you really don?t have any idea just how truly [...]

Hoover Dam is not Disneyland

I’m surprised from recent reviews about just what people were thinking when they visited Hoover Dam. My wife and I took our 3 children to Hoover Dam en route from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon in August 2005. At no time did we expect it to be other than a visit to a major [...]

Grand Canyon is definitely Awesome

During my 3 months in the US I have heard the word “Awesome” used in all sorts of situations - “an awesome pass”, during a football game, “an awesome meal”, “an awesome body” etc. But using this word in connection with The Grand Canyon is definitely one of the few correct usages of such a [...]

In One Word WOW!

When you first come upon it no words can’t descibe it. It is simply one of the most unbelievable sights you will ever see. There are so many trails to explore. Take your pick I prefere the mule trips, easier on the feet. One of the best steam train trips is here. The Grand canyon [...]

A totally wonderful experience. I had always thought that wasn't for me until I experienced it. If you go to one place in Arizona make sure you take a Grand Canyon tour. Although once there however you will find that there is very little in terms of a typical tourist base but there are plenty of breathtaking views and lookout points. You can also have the opportunity (but only if booked before hand with a good tour company like Paradise Found Tours to travel around the Grand Canyon.

The views of the Grand Canyon are breathtaking and are at some places awe inspiring. When my girlfriend and I decided to visit the Grand Canyon, we set out from Las Vegas knowing we only had a few hours to spare. Nothing could prepare us for the most spectacular, breathtaking natural wonder of the world. As soon as we got there, you could just feel your body tingle all over with excitement. When you look over the edge, a number of emotions come flooding through your mind and a sense of inspiration overwhelms you.
